Steeler legend Jerome "The Bus" Bettis was on one last ride, standing in his was of a Cinderella finish to his career was the NFL best 14-2 Indianapolis Colts. After dominating the entire game and taking possession of the ball on the Colt's two-yard line with 1:20 remaining and leading 21-18 it looked as though Pittsburgh had secured the upset victory. However, a Bettis fumble and a Ben Roethlisberger game-saving tackle led to a dramatic 46-yard field attempt by Colt's kicker, Mike Vanderjagt. The kick would sail wide right, sending Pittsburgh to the AFC Championship Game.
