Sandokan and his crew board a ship and free a captive, who is convinced the pirate is the warrior from an old prophecy. Landing in Labuan in disguise, Sandokan meets Marianne, the consul's daughter and clashes with Brooke, a pirate hunter.

Marianne is celebrating her twenty-first birthday. Sandokan and Brooke are invited to the ball. Tension builds between the three, but Sandokan must first free Yanez and his crew, imprisoned in the dungeons, and try not to blow his cover.
