After both Rebekah and her son recovered from the bombing Rebekah realized that the emotional injuries her son sustained were far worse than the physical ones. This led Rebekah to form a charity to help kids suffering from PTSD. Rebekah vowed to do everything she could have done on two legs, on one leg, including winning millions of dollars.
