On the night of an important mission André Câmara and his partner Lopes suspect a leak from within the force. André begins to piece things together, but soon enough all eyes are on him. It turns out it was his father, who doesn't have long to live. He pleads for André to take the hit, promising he will exonerate him on his deathbed. What choice does André have?

Now that he cannot return to the force, André is persuaded by his former partner Lopes to use his expertise to track fugitives in Brazil for a good price. In their first case, a Haitian has arrived in Brazil to find his missing brother. As André begins to ask around people don't want to talk, and he begins to suspect this is more than a family matter.
