Today Simon's Cat reached 1million subscribers on YouTube! When Simon's Cat first appeared on YouTube around four years ago we thought it was amazing to have just 100 subscribers. And today we still think it's wonderful to have any amount of people, small or large, appreciating what we do. While we make films that we like to watch, we also try to make films you enjoy too. And it is the massive support you all have shown that has given us the inspiration and ability to continue making more films. We can't express enough how grateful we are for your patience, your feedback, your stories, your photos, your suggestions and your continued support. Thank You, Simon and the Simon's Cat team.

Simon's Cat creator Simon Tofield was honored to be invited to decorate a giant statue of Aardman's Gromit for their children's charity - The Grand Appeal (2013). All of the Gromit sculptures have been placed around the city of Bristol, UK. Visitors can search for statues on the The Gromit Unleashed Trail. They will then be auctioned later this year. In this video, we see how Simon covered Gromit in 100s and 100s of his illustrations.
